Oh what I would give to be, just for a moment, these lily pads floating in a sea of red, green, gold, and blue. Floating, floating. Swaying, swaying with the rhythm of pond, and anchored to the bottom by a fragile and strong stem. Just for a moment, imagine yourself floating, floating, swaying, swaying in the beauty, yet anchored in your truth.
Who knew there was a goat farm in Lithonia, GA? I sure didn’t. We stumbled upon this goat farm in the middle of the Atlanta suburbs. They were very cute and cautiously friendly. I especially loved those sweet, little baby goats; I guess you call them kids. What beautiful golden eyes they have. I just wanted to kiss them on the nose, rub their heads, and give them lots of treats. I know. They became instant pets to me. I really hope they are pets.
Beautify and edible, flowering kale in purple and white. Its little white fingertips grabbing at the sun to make purpleness at its center.
Can you imagine how deliciously warm the sun must feel on the outstretched wings of this butterfly?
Woodruff Park, in the heart of downtown Atlanta, is a cool place to spend some time on a sunny day. Most people love to hang out by the life-sized chess pieces, but not me. I like to hang out by the reflecting ponds, fountains, and waterfalls. You’ve probably figured out, by now, that I LOVE reflections, especially reflections in water. I like to watch the real world transform into surreal, wavy reflections in the beautiful cerulean blue water.
