Did you ever stop to wonder where ruby red pomegranate seeds oozing sweet, tart juiciness come from?  I don’t mean which high-end food emporium or grocery store where you can buy them.  I never really thought about it, until I visited the Atlanta Botanical Garden.  I saw pomegranates bathing in the sun on rows of bushes.  The round fruit comes in different shades of red and purple and has the cutest little fluted bottom.  If you have a chance, seek out an opportunity to see these delicious delicacies in the wild or at least in a well manicured garden.

Scarecrows, filled with straw, tattered clothing, funny hats, and button eyes, don’t scare me, even at Halloween.  After visiting Atlanta Botanical Garden, I have an improved sense of how bodacious and  fabulous scarecrows can be.  Friendly, flamboyant shepherds of the garden is how I see them now.  Atlanta Botanical Garden has an amazing display of scarecrows in the garden.  Here’s just a few to pique your interest.

The curling smoke fingers of incense instantly lure me away to a land of relaxation, meditation, and calm.  It’s the smell of home.  It’s the smell of meditation.  It’s the smell of massages.  It’s the smell of exhaling from a long day.  Incense smells of everything good.

While visiting Swainsboro, GA, I encountered some very country cats.  Although they are someone’s pets, they’re what you call “outside cats.”  They come and go as they please, control vermin (e.g., snakes and rats and such), climb trees, and do what outside cats do.  I let them be.  They checked me out, sniffing and circling me.  I watched, and this is what I saw.
